Relaxing Lavender Foot Soak

This is my favorite relaxing foot soak for a spa day or just before bed. I hope you enjoy!

You will need:

  • Warm water
  • 1/4 cup Epsom salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond oil or other carrier oil
  • 5-8 drops lavender essential oil
  • Dried lavender (optional)
  • 1 small tub
  • Foot lotion/cream (I use Burt's Bees coconut foot cream)
  • A hand towel
  • A pair of comfy socks
 
Fill a clean tub with warm water, enough to cover your feet. Pour in the Epsom salt, almond oil, and lavender essential oil. Sprinkle in some dried lavender if you so choose. I like to soak for 15-20 minutes, but you can soak for as long as you'd like. I usually read or just close my eyes and rest while I do this. When you're done, use a hand towel to dry off your feet, and massage some foot cream onto your feet. Cover with socks to keep the moisture in. I recommend doing this soak before bed so your feet can rest and soak in the cream overnight. Let me know how it went in the comments!
